Transfixed at an early age with a deep curiosity and love for the natural world, Lizzie has been on a mission for the last ten years to write an adventure series which reflects the environmental challenges our planet faces.
Fascinated by the natural behaviours of wild creatures. Lizzie tells her story through their eyes as they tackle the effects of a future world, created by climate change.
Having been fortunate enough to work in the conservation sector for over twenty years. Lizzie now wishes to embed her natural knowledge and passion for the environment into her children’s stories.
‘Winter’ is Lizzie’s debut novel and forms the first book of the series.
Lizzie lives in the Cotswolds with two amazing children, two crazy dogs and one very patient husband. Together, they share their garden with one feisty Robin, a pair of Chaffinches, a rather bossy Blackbird and an extremely overweight Wood Pigeon!
